The focus of our church family is to serve Jesus Christ together with a loving relationship. We put every effort to fulfill God's greatest commandments: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," and "love you neighbor as yourself." It is our goal at STLCBC to teach our young people to follow this commandment. The major thrust of our teaching is on honoring God and serving the family. We feel that the teen-age years are to be a time of growth in both their relationships with their parents and siblings. The home and the church are the training grounds for effective Christian living in our adult years. The commitment of the youth is to reach our city for Christ.
Along with weekly youth meetings on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. which consists of worship, teaching and fellowship, discipleship training, summer camp, and mission trips all offer opportunities for growth and expansion of the spiritual lives of our youth. Along with a passion for spiritual growth is a passion for fun! This is provided through great activities planned throughout the year.
